As a little kid, young cheung quan bo was sent to "Ching Fung Kwoon" to be raised by taoist Wu chen and Shang leu Yin. Unexpectedly, Quan bo becomes the disciple of a holy monk who's really good at kung fu, where quan bo learns to communicate w/ animals. One day, quan bo met Bing xin, a disciple of "medicine/posion king valley". He even helps Bing xin to pursue a swordmaster called yak tin heng at "famous sword ranch". At the end, yak tin heng leaves the wedding ceremony, however this incident got the three of them tied by fate. This is a south song period, when Yue fei conquer "chu sian town" to win back the lands for song dynasty but was ordered by the king to return under the 12 gold sign, a plan developed by the evil prime minister--chun ku. So, every wu-lin people rush to save Yue fei even cheung quan bo. In the fighting competition located in "hei fung town", quan bo met a willful Chun si yong and the owner of "famous sword ranch"--yak zhi fung. The three find themselves in a dangerous situation where they face a big western snake.

Yak tin heng saves the three--yi chi fung, cheung quan bo and chun si yong. Yak tin heng finds that Chun si yong looks like his past-away beloved, so he keeps on following her and got Chun si yong very annoyed. Zhang zhi jiao ordered people to disguise as jing soldiers(aka manchu soldiers) to kill yue fei on the way, and also to impede volunteer army. Thus, Yue fei and his gangs were surrounded by bad guys and yue fei got shot by an arrow in the back, and his condition is very serious. Luckily, quan bo appears at the right time and saves him, and at this time, soldiers sent by the king has arrived, wanting to take yue fei back to the king. Before Yue fei leaves, he secretly left a package to quan bo asking quan bo to deliver it to General Fei Long. Yet, this package got quan bo into disaster b/c rumor spread among the wu-lin world that quan bo has treasure, battle strategies, kung fu manuals. So, everyone wants to find quan bo. In order to avoid those people, quan bo decides to go home. On the way to home, he passes a wedding "kiu", not knowing that this young woman--ming dao hong is going to be his new mom b/c it turns out that that day is his father's wedding day!

Red laterns hang in Cheung Family b/c they're preparing a wedding for cheung wo and ming dao hong. Yet, no one knows quan bo is going to stop the wedding. The wedding attracts many kung fu people to come including Yi chi fung from "famous sword ranch" and bad kung fu people who want to steal the package from quan bo. Cheung wo and Cheung gu found out the bride is missing and find quan bo's letter saying that he wants to resuce the bride from falling into pits. This causes disaster in Cheung family, so cheung wo and cheung zhi shang decide to find quan bo together. It turns out that the reason quan bo taking ming dou hong w/ him is that quan bo feels that Cheung wo is so old that he shouldn't marry ming dou hong who is a woman younger than him. Quan bo then decides to take her back to where she's from. Yet, he finds out that he becomes the target that everyone wants to get a piece of. While hopelessly not knowing what to do, yi chi fung and chun si yong show up again.

Quan bo, yi chi fung and chun si yong together deliver ming dao hong home. 2 girls and 2 guys were having fun on the way. However, the four of them were attacked in a gang-related inn. Chun si yong got poisoned and fainted, which got yi chi fung worried. Quan bo seeing this knew yi chi fung likes Chun si yong. These 2 guys then talk about girls over alcohol and friendship begins to develop. Ming dao hong purposely uses horescope to lead people to walk separate path. quan bo learns that ming dao hong doesn't want to go home but still forces her to. When they arrive at Ming dao hong's family, Ming dao hong's parents thought quan bo is their new son-in-law, and quan bo mistakenly become a false son-in-law for one night. yet, quan bo escapes in midnight, and ming dao hong follows him also. At this time, zhang zhi jiao arrives to Ming family, conflict arises and he kills the whole family.

Quan bo knows that it's his fault for Ming family to get wiped out suddenly in one night, which got him guilty. so, he decides to deliver ming dou hong to "famous sword ranch". Everyone was very nice to ming dao hong on the way and ming dao hong has feelings for quan bo. Wu-lin people chases after quan bo accusing quan bo of having an affair w/ hou niang and sercetly hiding General's stash. Quan bo and his gang are no match to the others, but Cheung wo(dad) appears using "sin hou kung" to get rid of the people. he resuces quan bo, but then cheung wo said that quan bo's reputation is ruin. He wants to kill ming dao hong to clear quan bo's name. Quan bo doesn't let him and the two of them start to argue. Quan bo wants to let ming dao hong flee, so he purposely lead his dad into the remote part of the forest. Yet the four western evils surround quan bo and his dad to attack them. Quan bo got hit and fainted. At this time, zhang zhi jie and chun si yong appear accusing cheung wo as a betrayer and kill cheung wo w/ the four western evils.

Chun si yong saves quan bo but quan bo doesn't know that his father is dead. He has to travel w/ chun si yong to continue to find General Fei long b/c he lost contact w/ ming dao hong. Chun si yong tries to get quan bo to disclose where he hides yue fei's package, but fail. On the road, they met a crazy monk--ching hon who is very interested in quan bo's ability to communicate w/ the animals. B/c ching hon is so amazed by quan bo's speciality, he kidnaps quan bo. Chun si yong tries to run after them but lost them. Yak tin heng passes by a village learning that there's a wicked person murdering all the women. So, he decides to catch this wicked person. He met a woman--hong niang claiming that she is one of the victims, yak tin heng not knowing that it's a trap takes her home anyway. On the way, yak tin heng got unconscious by hong niang's medicine and as she was trying to rape him, chun si yong appears to stop her. Hong niang uses "cold ice palm" to attack them and the two were hurt critically.

Yak tin heng carries the harm chun si yong on road, taking care of her and being very nice to her to express his love for her. but Si yong refuses his love. The posion in Si Yong's body rekindle again, and yak tin heng tries all his might to to get rid the posion for her, and this touches si yong. Yet, si yong still can't accept his love. On the other hand, ching hon kidnaps quan bo to shaolin temple. Ching hon points out that General fei long whom quan bo is looking for is in shaolin temple. Yet, ching hon won't let quan bo go, put him into the librarby to make him copy all the books and make quan bo teaches him the way to communicate w/ animals. quan bo is annoyed by a crazy ching hon, but he finds out that General Fei long isn't in shaolin temple, so he plans to flee. However, ching hon finds out and got mad, so ching hon uses his ultimate weapon--a thousand hands, and that's how quan bo realizes that ching hon has very high level of martial skills.

Inside shaolin's library, quan bo begs ching hon to teach him his ultimate skill. but ching hon is unconsious at times and conscious at times, so he forgot what martial skills he learned or what kind of things he had said. Funny thing happens when quan bo tries to awaken ching hon's memory but ching hon still doesn't remember after so many trials. As when quan bo gives up, ching hon starts to remember, he teaches quan bo the skill at night. As a result, quan bo's kung fu level rises. Meanwhile, quan bo discovers shaolin's "yi zhin ji" when he was forced by ching hon to copy books in the library. And so, quan bo determines to learn the skill every night and day. On the other hand, yak tin heng reluctantly returns back to "famous sword ranch" to ask for antiode for chun si yong. The reason he "reluctantly" goes back is b/c there's a conflict between him and his dad. As it turns out, yak tin heng is the 2nd eldest son of the owner--yak yu of "famous sword ranch".

Zhang zhi jie learns that quan bo is hiding within shaolin's place, orders chun si yong to go after quan bo. In order to gain quan bo's good impression, she lies that she loves quan bo. She even entices him through her beauty to get quan bo to disclose the secret of yue fei's package. However, b/c quan bo knows that yak tin heng likes Chun si yong, he suppresses his feeling toward her by practicing kungfu restlessly, bathing in springs, which create a lot of laughing gags. Meanwhile, the owner of "famous sword ranch"--yak yu transfers all his kung fu to his eldest son--yak zhi fung. From then on, the property of Yak's family is taken care by yak zhi fung. At the same time, zhang zhi jie provokes everyone to meet at "famous sword ranch" forcing the owner(yak yu) to lead them to shaolin temple to obtain quan bo. But yak yu appears in front of the crowd and said that the owner isn't available to see anyone. Then, people starts to bring out their swords.

Every fighter within wu-lin world gather in "famous sword ranch" saying that they want "famous sword ranch" to order justice, asking shaolin to hand out quan bo. But actually, they all want to test how strong are ppl in "famous sword ranch". At this time, yak zhi fung who has been hiding to practice his kung fu that he got from his dad, breaks out and displays his kungfu which defeat everyone. So, yak zhi fung leads everyone to to shaolin. After losing contact w/ quan bo, ming dou hong learns of quan bo's whereabout, that is in shaolin temple also follow the crowd to shaolin, hoping to meet quan bo again. Quan bo living in shaolin's library, learns kungfu from ching hon, who actually is General Fei Long before becoming a monk. Quan bo's kung fu rises a level once again. Interesting thing is, people in shaolin doesn't know the existence of quan bo in shaolin. Then, yak zhi fung defeat all shaolin's master and rushes into the library, encountering the quan bo who has recently masters "yi zhin ji". these two then begin a fight.

A no-name quan bo begins a fight w/ a prominent owner of "famous sword ranch"--yak zhi fung. Yak zhi fung uses everything he knows to fight but still loses to quan bo who recently masters "yi zhin ji". Yak zhi fung soon finds himself in a embrassed situation. Unfortunately, yak tin heng arrives and decides to fight w/ quan bo, but the result is even. Quan bo defeat all unwelcome guests, thinking that he'll get praise but got chided by shaolin masters that quan bo secretly steal shaolin kung fu to learn. This is a crime, so shaolin masters decide to destroy his kungfu, but ching hon appears in time to save quan bo and hide him inside a big bell to take quan bo out of shaolin. Later, quan bo got the help from ming dou hong to escape and learns that his father is dead, so he decides to go home to investigate. Meanwhile, yak tin heng still follows chun si yong but after a harsh refusal, yak tin heng left. Yak zhi fung on the other hand went to the desert part after his lost battle w/ quan bo.

As quan bo goes home, he realizes that he has become famous after his battle w/ yak zhi fung. w/ the help of tai shi zhi, quan bo suspects that the four western evils kill his dad. Chun si yong has been following quan bo, hoping to obtain the package from quan bo and she even makes friends w/ ming dou hong. Yet, ming dou hong attracts the attraction of hong niang--an alliance of the four western evils, forcing chun si yong to comply w/ her to get ming dou hong. At the nick of time however, Si yong saves dou hong. And during this process, she realizes she is changing, changing to a person who hates the professional life. As yak zhi fung travels alone to desert, his attitute of wanting fame has gradually dissipated. After a long trip, quan bo finally returns home w/ si yong and dou hong.

Quan bo returns home to see his father and verify his father's death. during bowing ceremony to his dad, he annull his dad's marriage w/ dou ming, from then on dou hong isn't quan bo's stepmom anymore. Zhang zhi jin learning that quan bo has return, order quan bo to leave, and won't let him come him until he finds out the murderer of his father. quan bo agrees and travels on the road again w/ si yong and dou hong. Yak zhi fung encounters tornado. he resuces hong niang who tried to hurt him in the past, but got himself into a predicament. Luckily, he is resuced by his brother tin heng who lives in someone's house inside the desert. Quan bo encounters snake demon on his quest to find his father's murderer. funny thing is, a benevolent quan bo changes snake demon's heart into a good one and also extract the goodness within si yong.

Tin heng leaves without saying goodbye in the desert. zhi fung met a cute girl called Zhao yu er. superficially, Yu er looks a weak girl but actually she's quite strong. She leads the hu tribe in the desert to survive and that makes zhi fung respects her. Yu er also got attracted by his handsomeness and starts to like him. On the other hand, quan bo encounters tai shi zhi who is praying w/ his disciples for the dead ones who have been killed by a giant snake. the giant snake is raised by snake demon. yet, snake demon at this time is already killed by his brothers. Si yong seeing the brutality of the evil side, want more than anything to leave the evil side. The death of snake demon leaves quan bo hopeless in the investigation of his father's death. quan bo lives in tai shi zhi's place--dao kwoon tai shi kwoon. One day, someone comes to challenge quan bo, tai shi zhi aids him but die unexpectedly.

Before tai shi zhi dies, he bequeath everything to quan bo--his disciples and tai shi kwoon. Quan bo can't refuse yet he doesn't want the responsibility so he flees at night. But he encounters si yong and so they leave together. Yet, they met a lost girl, so they're back to tai shi kwoon. The disciples thought quan bo and si yong are going together and they tease those two. Dou hong heard it over at doorstep and got pissed. Zhi fung w/ yu er on the other hand develop a relationship as they be w/ each other after sometime. One time, they got suck into the tornado and deliver them to yut ah cheng and they made a love vow. The lost girl got si yong thinking, thinking that what she's doing isn't right. so si yong left without saying goodbye after the parents pickup the lost girl.

Zhi fung and yu er finally returns back to hu tribe. yu er's mom wants to give yu er to him, but zhi fung said he still need to make a name for himself(ie, he doesn't have a stable career yet), so he refuses and wants to leave. Yu er begs him to stay and touches zhi fung. so, they both return to mainland china together. Quan bo on the other make regulation in tai shi kwoon, forbiding disciples to pray, but want everyone to practice kung fu. Some of the people such as cheung chu gai and yu dou ham aren't please and join "black dog gang" to steal soldiers supply. but they got cheated by "black dog gang", luckily quan bo appears to save them and even give "black dog gang" a lesson. this got quan bo's name well-known among wu-lin world. Zhang zhi jie tries to start rumor by forcing si yong to make up fake proof that "famous sword ranch" kills his father. quan bo is very confused and asks zhang zhi jie for solution, but before quan bo can say another word, zhang zhi jie has already lead everyone to "famous sword ranch".

Quan bo follows everyone to "famous sword ranch". Yak yu points out that there's not one single solid logic to back it up. Yak yu respects quan bo and even give #1 leader's position to quan bo. Since his plan fails, zhang zhi jie attacks "famous sword ranch" w/ the four western evils. Yak yu can't fight so much people, die under si yong's sword. Zhang zhi jie seeing si yong rebells many times, make her take "fu sum yuan"--poison to control her. Zhi fung and yu er arrive seeing people trash the ranch and the death of yak yu, hurts. Yu er then comforts him. Zhi fung sets goal and decides to re-establish "famous sword ranch". zhang zhi jie steals the 8 most valuable swords of "famous sword ranch", leave it among the world to let people fight for it to weaken the ties of wu-lin people in the mainland.

Quan bo helps zhi fung to search for "tin bo sword" w dou hong. zhi fung and yu er on the hand search for "pak yok sword" and learns that it is in a gambling place. Zhi fung wants to win back the sword in a fair way so he gambles but lose. Yu er uses her beauty to entice the-control-gamble-game-person to lose attention and succeed. They win back the sword and is appreciated by zhi fung. On the other hand, quan bo met father-daughter "ling tin ba" and "ling suet un" of "ling tin bill ku" who are delivering "yuen mo sword". Quan bo defeat "ling tin ba" in a fight and got the sword back. "ling tin ba" got serious wound after the fight, therefore losing energy to deliver the stuff. He got ostracized by his men, so angry that he spills blood and faint.

Ling tin ba passes away not long after his infliction. At deathbed, Ling tin ba said that his skills aren't as good as quan bo and warn his disciples not to wage war against quan bo. He tells Cheung Chui san(side note: cheung or Zhang Chui san=Zhang wu ji/cheung mo gei father in jing yong's nove!!!) not to avenge his death but learn kung fu from quan bo. but the implusive Cheung Chi san doesn't listen to his master and wants to fight quan bo to avenge his master death. In Tai Shi Kwoon, it's inconvient as dou hong is the only girl. Quan bo receives pressure from his disciples and try to find a husband for dou hong. dou hong got pissed and divulge that she likes quan bo in hasty. This shocks quan bo and quan bo said that he only sees dou hong as a family member, and he wants to find a good husband for her.

Zhi fung wants to re-establish "famous sword ranch" reputation so he search for the missing swords efforfully. Zhi fung has retreive three lost swords from "Ching Zhen Cheung Chun Zhi" and obtained the forth sword(yuen wu sword) back w/ quan bo's help. Zhi fung wants to retreive the 8 swords back to practice kung fu, to raise to a high level then to re-establish the fame of "famous sword ranch". Meanwhile, Cheung chui san appears in Tai shi Kwoon looking for quan bo for revenge. Yet, his skills aren't as good as quan bo and lost. Ling suet an tries to convince Cheung chui san to follow her dad's "last words" to forget vengence, while Cheung chui san at this time expresses his love to her. Ling suet an refuses and Cheung chui san is disappoints. Then, the frustrated Cheung Chui san is used by "zhe lu" to plot explosive underneath a cherry tree in the forest. Cheung chui san then pretends to ask Quan bo to learn Kung fu. Quan bo didn't think it is a trick and went. As they begin to fight, dou hong and ling suet an arrive to stop them. But the fireworks explode.

Dou hong saves quan bo from the explosion but got wounded and die. This got Quan bo very upset. Other disciples such as cheung chu gai and yu dou ham want to throw the wounded Cheung Chui Chi into river to avenge dou hong's death. Quan bo however stops everyone and preach forgiveness, he even treat Cheung Chui Chi w/ all his energy which got Cheung Chui Chi ambivalent. Both Cheung Chui Chi and Ling suet an feel that they don't have any face to deserve to stay in Tai Shi kwoon, so they leave. Meanwhile, one of the disciples--Song yun cu has feelings for Ling suet an. Ling suet an's leaving w/o goodbye left Song yun cu very disappointed. Zhi fung and Yu er give each other mutual support during the process of searching for swords. They finally reach a point where they've no money left and feeling hopeless, so they decide to return back to "famous sword ranch" to make any further future plan, where they meet the coming-home-yak tin heng.

Seeing how destroyed "famous sword ranch" is, Yak tin heng sighed. He continues to find his love after he points out Zhi fung's flaw and where he needs to improve in kung fu, also asking Yu er to take care of zhi fung. Zhang zhi jie wants to train Si yong back to a cold-blood professionalist, but Si yong misses the benevolent Quan bo of now developed "Wu Dong". This got Zhang zhi jie very hurtful since he also loves Si yong. After Quan bo establishes "Wu dong", he does many good deeds affecting his position and fame to rise. so, he decides to to hold a meeting(or a wu-lin fighting competition) to invite everyone to meet in "Wu Dong' to search for a Song Princess who have vanished among the commoners. Zhang zhi jie orders Si yong to make trouble in the meeting but she meets Yak Tin heng on the way.

Tin Heng expresses his love for tin heng but Si yong uses the excuse having someone on her mind to refuse him. Tin Heng got pissed and want to find out who his "enemy" is. yak zhi fung agrees to go to the fighting cmpetition and yu er thinks that it's a good time to be known. yet, zhi fung is so immersed in practicing kung fu that he deviates. After defeating strong opponents in the competition, he coughs blood and faint. Luckily, Tin heng comes out to save him, but zhi fung's whole energy is depleted. the result of the wu-lin competition is that Zhang zhi jie won the throne as the leader. Si yong is curious why Zhang zhi jie is so interest in the throne and he said that he's only doing this for his master---Siu Yew Wong to conquer wu-lin. Later, Yak tin heng finds out that Si yon'g love interest is Quan bo, so he gives Quan Bo a serious blow and leaves.

Zhang zhi jie learns that quan bo is hurt and urges si yong to posion him to get rid of this pest. si yong however can't do it b/c she has fallen in love for quan bo. On the other hand, Quan bo meets a holy monk who discloses that Si yong is his disciple and that Si yong may be related to his father's death. This shocked Quan bo b/c Si yong is his friend and he also finds that he has fallen in love for Si yong. However, Quan bo being candid asks si yong directly about the truth. Si yong knowing that she can't hide the truth anymore confess. In order to repay her crime, Si yong pretends to have successfully posion Quan bo to lure Zhang zhi jie and his people out. Yet, siu Yew wong's disciple---sim Dim and Ban Lui discover the plan and expose it, allowing Zhang zhi jie to flee. Si yong on the other hand has no face to face Quan bo and leaves.

Because Yak Zhi Fung was discouraged in the fighting world competition, Yak Zhi Fung hopes to find the Song Princess before anyone else in order to obtain the right to master/order everyone in the world. He and Zhao Yu Er go to the desert to find the Song princess and find that Yu Er's mom is actually a maid who used to work in the royal palace and who used to hang out w/ the princess as kids. Under the guidence of Yu Er's mom, they finally find the princess. Yet, this princess is a bit*ch and got both Yak Zhi Fung and Yu Er difficult to handle. Cheung Kwan Bo wants to extend/enlarge Wu Dong so he recruits many people to teach them kung-fu thus Wu Dong becomes one big organization. On the other hand, b/c Zhang Zhi Jiao fails at his mission to kill Cheung Kwan Bo, Siu Yiu Wong decides to kill Zhang Zhi Jiao to set an example to others not to fail their missions. But Zhang Zhi Jiao suggests a plan to kidnapp Yak Tin Heng in order to get himself out of dying; his plan is to capture Yak Tin Heng alive so that Siu yiu Wong can learn Yak Tin Heng's kung-fu. Zhang Zhi Jiao uses hypnotic or taken-mind/heart technique to control Chun Si yong, using Chun si yong as bait to lure Yak Tin heng.

Yak Tin Heng got imprisoned by the alliance of Wu-ling and Siu Yiu Wong purposely try to occupy him w/ questions. B/c Cheung Kwan Bo has to fight against hypnotic or taken-mind/heart technique, he has to clear his guilt first. It turns out that Kwan Bo has three regretable events: 1. Never develop close relationship w/ his parents since he grew up in a Dao-Kwoon/temple. 2. Dad got murdered. 3. Indirectly murder Dao Ming Hong. Kwan Bo finally overcome his guilt under the help of his disciples and The House of Yu-Lin's 'compensate-heart technique'. On the other hand, Yak Zhi Fung and Zhao Yu-Er found the Song Princess among the desert-ghetto so they both deliver the princess back to inland china. However, the Song Princess is a bitc*h who order both of them for stuff and even attempts to entice Zhi Fung, which got Yu-Er furious and starts an argument w/ the Princess that got Zhi Fung in the middle.

Yak Zhi fung and Yu-Er deliver the princess to 'Lum-On' to visit the two great masters--'chen kong nam' and 'ching seng shun hup'. They meet these two people to come up with plans to meet the royal palace, to come up w/ plans to let the world know that the princess is found. Yet, the Wu-Ling Alliance did this one step ahead, announcing that they got the princess, but secretly finding someone to disguise as the princess. The disguise princess even meet w/ Yak Zhi Fung to invite him to join Wu-Ling Alliance. At this time, Cheung Kwan Bo and his disciples travel to the south and they meet Zhi Fung. There at 'Lum-On', a group of Red Lamma are there, everyone waiting for the disguise princess to read a note in the conference. Hence, cheung Kwan Bo orders Song Yuen Kue to go to Shaolin Temple to get General Fei-Long's package to reveal the princess is fake. Cheung Kwan Bo finds that the magic-monks in the temple looking weird and thought that they're controled by the 'taken-mind/heart technique'. so, he wants to explore the temple to understand, but can't and at this time, the holy monk(Zhang Tien Lin aka the emperor in HZGG series) appear!

The Holy Monk appears to tell Kwan Bo how dangerous Siu Yiu Wong is and transfer 'Yak Gun technique' to him. Yak Zhi Fung also hears the appearance of Holy monk and goes to the temple hoping the holy monk will teach him some kung-fu. Yet, the Holy Monk is so busy teaching Kwan Bo that he ignores Zhi Fung. Yu-Er seeing this said to Zhi Fung that he should join Wu-Lin Alliance rather than being a subordinate to someone, which got Zhi Fung not knowing what to do. In order to understand his enemy better, Kwan Bo sends Zhang Song Chi dressing as a chef to the enemy's place. Zhang Song Chi finds out that there're many Wu-Ling masters imprison there and even Chun Si yong is there! Chun Si Yong's body is full of posion called "Fu Xi Yuan" and is theathern by "Diu Pak" for love, but Chun Si Yong would rather die. Kwan Bo transferred "Yak Gun Gang" to Chun Si Yong through Zhang Song Chi, teaching Chun Si Yong to use the kung-fu to get rid of the posion. chun Si yong once again is full of hope.

Wu-Lin Alliance holds a meeting to read the will, Cheung Kwan Bo leading many good Wu-lin fighters, bringing the real princess to the gathering hoping to reveal the truth. However, Yak Zhi Fung switches sides, killing the real princess and alleges Kwan Bo as the traitor of the country. Kwan Bo presents General Fei Long's bequeath but it is no use. The royal palace gives an order to capture kwan bo b/c they deem him as a traitor. Everyone of the good Wu-lin fighters are captured except Song Yuan Cu. Kwan Bo on the other hand is surrounded by "Sim Dim", "bun Lui" and "Diu Pak" but luckily Holy monk appears to save him. yet, Siu Yiu Wong appears too. Holy monk knows that he can't win so he transfers all his kung-fu to Kwan Bo, and then goes off to fight w/ siu Yiu Wong and his disciples, in order to let Kwan bo escapes. However, Siu Yiu Wong sees through Holy monk's plan and beat Kwan Bo almost to death, collapsing all Kwan Bo's vein. Luckily, "big snake" arrives and saves Kwan Bo.

Kwan Bo wakes up from a serious injury but he loses his memory. He wonders off the street, living among the dogs. Zhang Chok San sees him and initially wants to kill him to avenge his master's death. Yet, his compassion says otherwise and Zhang Chok San takes Kwan Bo to "medicine-valley". Ling Suet An diagnoses Kwan Bo as having clogged blood in his brain and so he uses medicine to treat him. Zhang Chok San finds that though Kwan Bo loses his memory but his kung-fu is still here, so he takes Kwan Bo to market-place to perform kung-fu and it's a great turnout! After Yak Zhi Fung joins Wu-Lin Alliance, Siu Yiu Wong persuades Zhi Fung to marry the fake princess. Zhi Fung loves Yu-Er and they've been through a lot, yet before he has a chance to refuse, Siu Yiu Wong kills Yu-Er already. Zhi fung can't go back anymore as he loses his beloved.
